Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in Egypt: Q4 2024 Insights

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several travel and local apps on the Android platform showed notable trends in Egypt, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at 26K in early October and peaking at 37K in mid-December. Active users rose from 199K to a high of 315K in mid-November before settling at 196K by the year's end.

Nusuk | نسك saw a steady download pattern, maintaining figures around 17K to 18K weekly throughout the quarter. Active users increased steadily from 45K to 67K by the end of December.

The Egyptian National Railways app showed a significant spike in downloads, reaching 26K in mid-November. Active users peaked at 173K during the same period.

Google Earth had consistent downloads around 10K weekly, with active users ranging between 212K and 321K, peaking in late October.

TaxiF - A Better Way to Ride experienced a decline in downloads from 21K to 4.5K by December's end. Active users started at 36K, climbing to over 53K by the close of the quarter.
